MEET RODNEY RAWLS
Rodney Rawls is a proud native of Dare County, having begun his journey in public service as a junior firefighter at just 13 years old. He joined the Kill Devil Hills Police Department as an officer in 2004 and has since dedicated his career to serving the community. From 2013 to 2025, Rodney also contributed his skills to the Dare County EMS. Currently, he holds the position of Master Patrol Sergeant with the Kill Devil Hills Police Department, where he continues to make a positive impact.
